PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
MAY 19, 2006

As you know May 19 is the DAY we Remember, Honor and Celebrate  the Memory of the 353,000 VICTIMS of the Pontian Genocide, brought about by the Ottoman Turks, in the period of  1915-1923.

We, at the PanPontian Federation of U.S.A. and Canada with all our Clubs have Lectures and gatherings for this matter and secure Proclamations, from several notable Public Servants, to bring about awareness of this shameful and tragic event.

 

We call, on all the Freedom loving people of the U.S.A and Canada and around the world to join " with the Greek American Community and all the Greek Organizations to Honor the sacrifices and Memory of their noble ancestors"

as Governor Pataki stated in his Proclamation.

 

May their Memory be Eternal and hopefully, one Day, soon, the  Genocide of the Pontian Greeks, be Recognized by the International Community.
