"The Argonauts" of Sydney

Fellow Pontians,

Allow me to introduce our new Association which was formed in November 2001 here in Sydney, Australia. The Pontian Cultural and Educational Association " The Argonauts". We are a group of 6, 1st and 2nd generation pontians who became frustrated with the political bickering within the existing Associations. We are all share a common passion, the love of Pontian culture, music and dance. Our goals are the promotion of pontian dance and music to the 2nd and 3rd generation Pontian Greeks. We teach pontian dancing on Tuesday nights to a group of 50 - 60 kids ranging from 5years - 26years of age. Our Dancing group performs at various functions through out the year.
