IOANNIS SANIDIS

Ο Ιωάννης Σανίδης γεννήθηκε το 1976 στην Βοστώνη των ΗΠΑ. Σε ηλικία δύο χρονών επιστρέφει στην Ελλάδα όπου και μεγάλωσε. Από μικρός αρχίζει και μαθαίνει λύρα, σε ηλικία 10 χρονών. Τα ακούσματα του είναι του Γώγου Πετρίδη - "το πατριαρχείο". Σε ηλικία 16 χρονών εμφανίζεται σε κοινωνικές εκδηλώσεις. Μετά από 2 χρόνια γίνεται λυράρης στην Εύξεινο Λέσχη Κοζάνης για οχτώ χρόνια, για το χορευτικό και την χορωδία του συλλόγου. Συνεργάζεται με όλους τους καλλιτέχνες, σε όλη την Ελλάδα αλλά και στο εξωτερικό (Γαλλία, Ελβετία, Ιταλία, ΗΠΑ, Καναδά). Ζει στην Κοιλάδα, Δήμος Ελλήσποντος, Κοζάνη.

Ioannis Sanidis was borin in 1976 in Boston, USA. At the age of two he moved back to Greece where he grew up as well. From the young age of ten he began playing lyra. His musical influence is Gogos Petridis, the "patriarch" of the lyra as he is called. At the age of sixteen Ioannis begins to perform at cultural events. After two years, he becomes the lyra player for the Pontian society Efxinos Leschi in Kozani, for both the dance group and the choir, for eight consecutive years. He performs with all the pontian artists inside and outside of Greece (France, Switzerland, Italy, USA, Canada). He lives in Kilada, in the municipality of Ellispontos, Kozani.
