NIKOLAOS KAPALIDIS
Ο Νίκος Καπαλίδης γεννήθηκε στα Πλατανάκια Σερρών, όπου και ακόμη ζει, το 1963. Από μικρός έμαθε ολομόναχος λύρα, και άρχισε να γράφει τραγούδια, ποιήματα και δίστιχα. Αν και συνέχισε την καλλιτεχνική του πόρεια σαν λαϊκός τραγουδιστής, ποτέ δεν έπαψε να παίζει λύρα και να γράφει ποντιακά.
Nikos Kapalidis was borin in 1963 in Platanakia, Serres, and continues to live there today. From a small age he taught himself to play lyra, and he started writing songs and poetry. Although he pursued popular Greek music as a singer, he continues to play lyra and to write Pontian songs.
