IOANNIS APOSTOLIDIS

Γεννήθηκε στο Μετοχή Σερρών το 1963. Η καταγωγή του από τον Πόντο είναι από Ριζές Τραπεζούντας. Μεγάλωσε σε οικογένεια μουσικών (ο πατέρας του λύρα και ο θείος του κλαρίνο και νταούλι). Ξεκίνησε με τα κρουστά και τραγόυδησε για πρώτη φορά σε ηλικία 17 ετών. Συνεργάστηκε με πολλούς Πόντιους καλλιτέχνες. Πήγε στην εκπομπή "Να η Ευκαιρία" και κέρδισε 1η θέση. Ζει εδώ και 20 χρόνια στην Γερμανία.

Ioannis Apostolidis was born in Metohi Serres in 1963. His roots in Pontos are from Rizes, Trapezounta. He grew up in a musical family (his father played lyra and his uncle played clarinet and daouli). He began by playing percussion instruments and started singing at the age of 17 for the first time. He has worked together with many Pontian artists. He took part in the musical talent show "Na i Efkeria" and was awarded first place. He has been living for the last 20 years in Germany.
